Photography

I really love taking photographs, it's been a love of mine since I was a kid. That time we lived in California, and my dad would take us on trips or long drives during the summer holidays. He always loved seeing new places that he heard about from his friends, and I really loved traveling too. I remember we drove to Yosemite National Park one summer, and on the way we passed by Lake Tahoe. I really wanted to take photographs of the scenery around me, as I had never seen such beauty in my entire life, but my dad would always say, "What's the point of a photograph without people in it?". I never liked his philosophy about photography much, so when we stopped near the lake, I took the camera while he wasn't looking, and took photographs of the lake, trees, mountains, whatever made me feel happy. Later I went on to paint one of those photographs, and though I didn't do a very good job of it, I was happy. I've always loved photography, and someday I hope to be able to travel a fair share and take that perfect picture.
